Memory

A space for the recovery of memory and the resistance of forgetting and disappearance, bringing together the personal and the collective, the analytical and the literary. Within it, we archive the memory of the individual, the family, societies, and peoples, recording a history through which we say that we were once here, that we lived, observed, suffered, and loved. It is a space that affirms our right to narrate what has happened to us, to have a written voice, and for our lives to hold value, no matter how fleeting, brief, or already moving toward disappearance they may seem.
