A Lebanese-American novelist and translator, her works have been translated into several languages worldwide. She has published four novels, two of which were shortlisted for the International Prize for Arabic Fiction (IPAF), and her debut novel won the Simon Hayek Award. Her third novel, Floor 99, was the first of her works to be translated into English. Her writings explore themes of identity, memory, and love, examining the impact of war and exile on the human psyche. Alongside her literary work, she has been working in journalism since 2009, contributing to leading newspapers and working with television channels.
