Donald Winkler

A literary translator who has translated some fifty volumes of Quebec literature—fiction, poetry, and non-fiction—from French into English. A three-time winner of the Canada Council Prize for French-to-English translation, his translation of Seyhmus Dagtekin’s novel, À la source, la nuit (To the Spring, by Night), appeared in 2013. He lives in Montreal.
